Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You have chronic kidney disease (GFR less than 90) and chronic heart failure (NYHA class II or higher)
- Your heart's pumping ability is reduced (LVEF 50% or less)
- Your potassium level in the past month was 4.8 or lower
- If you could become pregnant, you had a negative pregnancy test and will use birth control
- If you are on dialysis, your dialysis is effective (Kt/V >1.2 or URR >70%)
