Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You were admitted to the hospital for acute heart failure and received IV diuretics (water pills)
- You have signs of fluid overload, such as swelling in your legs, fluid around your lungs, or visible neck veins
- Your blood tests show elevated heart failure markers (BNP or NT-proBNP) measured in the last 24 hours
- You have had a heart ultrasound in the past 24 months
- You were taking at least 40 mg daily of oral furosemide (a water pill) before this hospitalization
