  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are hospitalized for worsening heart failure with fluid overload (swollen legs, crackles in lungs, etc.).
  • You are not in the intensive care unit.
  • You do not need high-flow oxygen (3 liters per minute or more).
  • You are not on dialysis and do not have end-stage kidney disease.
