This study compares two types of physical therapy to help people regain trunk control and balance after a stroke. Participants will receive either PNF (a hands-on technique using rhythmic movements) or NDT (another hands-on technique focusing on movement patterns) to improve stability.

Who can take part
- Diagnosed with an ischemic stroke (a type caused by a blood clot) in the middle cerebral artery
- Experience weakness on one side of the body (hemiparesis) from the stroke
- Have significant trunk (core/midsection) instability as measured by a standard test
- Be in the sub-acute phase of stroke recovery (roughly 1–3 months after stroke)
- Able to follow simple instructions without major cognitive or language difficulties
- No history of another stroke or severe heart instability
