This study compares two hands-on physical therapy methods—one called Mulligan mobilization alone, and another that combines it with myofascial release (gentle tissue massage)—to help restore movement and reduce pain in elbows that became stiff after a fracture healed. You would participate if your elbow is still limited 3–6 weeks after your cast was removed.

Who can take part

  • You are between 17 and 44 years old
  • Your elbow pain is mild to moderate (3–5 on a 10-point pain scale) with limited movement
  • You have significant elbow stiffness: can't straighten it fully (more than 30° limitation), can't bend it past 120°, or can't rotate your forearm fully (more than 50° loss)
  • It's been 3–6 weeks since your cast was removed and X-rays confirm your bone has healed
  • Your DASH score (a measure of arm function difficulty) is between 45–50 points
  • You have not yet received physiotherapy or medication for this elbow problem
