This study compares two ways of using virtual reality (VR) during common ear, nose, and throat (ENT) procedures done in the doctor's office. It aims to see if active (using a handheld controller) or passive (just watching) VR helps reduce pain and anxiety during these procedures.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are scheduled for one of these office-based ENT procedures: turbinate reduction, nasal debridement, balloon sinuplasty, radiofrequency ablation (RhinAer/VivAer), nasal polypectomy, eustachian tube dilation, vocal fold injection, or subglottic steroid injection.
- You can give your own consent and speak English.
- For the active VR part: You do not have a history of neurological or seizure disorders, developmental delays, uncorrected vision problems, motion sickness, or vertigo, and you can use a handheld controller.
- For the passive VR part: You do not have a history of neurological or seizure disorders, developmental delays, uncorrected vision problems, motion sickness, or vertigo.
- Your medical records are not flagged with 'break the glass' or 'research opt out.'
