Who can take part
- Age 40 or older
- PSA blood test result between 4–20 ng/ml, or abnormal digital rectal exam (DRE)
- Overweight or obese (BMI ≥28 if Asian, ≥30 if non-Asian)
- MRI scan shows at least one suspicious prostate lesion (PI-RADS score 3 or higher)
- Able to have a biopsy through the perineum (area between anus and scrotum) under local numbing or light sedation
- No prior prostate cancer treatment and no major rectal surgery
