Who can take part
- You have geographic atrophy caused by age-related macular degeneration (not another eye disease).
- You are 50 years or older.
- Your vision in the study eye is 20/200 or worse (legally blind) but you can still see light.
- The damaged area in your eye is between 2.5 and 17.5 mm² (about the size of a pencil eraser to a small pea).
- You have not had previous gene therapy or recent eye surgery (within 3 months).
- You are willing to use effective birth control during the study and for 3 months after.
