Blood Vessel Health Signals in Kidney Disease

Chronic Kidney DiseaseHypertension (HTN)Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM)

Part of Heart & circulation, Hormones & metabolism, Kidney & urinary, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This study measures how blood vessels behave in people with kidney disease or at risk for it. Researchers will use special sensors to understand how vessel stiffness changes, which could help predict and prevent heart and kidney problems.

Blood and urine tests to study heart risk in kidney disease

This study looks for new markers in blood or urine that may help explain heart (cardiovascular) risk in people with chronic kidney disease. It may help doctors better predict risk, especially in those not yet on dialysis.

Heart and Blood Vessel Changes in Dialysis Patients

This study looks at how kidney failure affects the small blood vessels and heart muscle in people on dialysis. Researchers want to understand how common these changes are and may use heart imaging and special medications to test how your blood vessels work.
