This study tests whether a nasal spray can improve dry eye symptoms and tear production in people with mild to moderate meibomian gland dysfunction (a common cause of dry eye). You'll use the spray daily while the research team monitors your eye health and comfort over several weeks.

Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older with the ability to consent to participate
  • Moderate dry eye symptoms (OSDI score above 13) and mild to moderate meibomian gland dysfunction (blocked oil glands in the eyelids)
  • Vision of 20/40 or better with glasses or contacts
  • Willing to stop all prescription dry eye medications and eye drops during the study, but continue warm compresses or eyelid cleaning if you use them
  • No active eye infections, severe eyelid inflammation, or recent eye surgery (within 3–12 months depending on surgery type)
  • No chronic sinus problems, nosebleeds, or bleeding disorders
