Who can take part
- Diagnosed with chronic hepatitis B at least 6 months ago
- Currently taking a nucleos(t)ide analogue (antiviral pill) that has kept your hepatitis B virus undetectable for at least 24 weeks
- HBeAg negative (a specific hepatitis B marker) at screening
- No cirrhosis, liver cancer, or serious liver disease besides hepatitis B
- No recent cancer, major surgery, or significant heart or brain disease
- Able and willing to use effective birth control during the study
