Who can take part

  • You are a man between 18 and 80 years old
  • You have prostate cancer and are scheduled for elective (planned) robot-assisted prostate removal surgery
  • Your overall health is stable enough for surgery (ASA status I, II, or III)
  • You do not have severe lung disease like advanced COPD or uncontrolled asthma
  • Your weight is proportionate to your height (BMI ≤ 35)
  • You have a healthy heart and are not in severe heart failure
