Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a diagnosis of liver cirrhosis (confirmed by imaging, ultrasound elastography, biopsy, or clinical signs) or be part of the healthy comparison group
  • Own a smartphone and be comfortable using WeChat and mini-programs (mobile app features)
  • Have a stable internet connection at home
  • Not be pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
  • Not have serious heart, lung, or kidney problems or unstable vital signs
