High-Flow Oxygen During Exercise for Heart Failure Patients

Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older
  • Diagnosed with heart failure (documented by a doctor)
  • Had an electrocardiogram (heart rhythm test) within the last 6 months
  • Able to do light-to-moderate activities but feel limited by shortness of breath (NYHA class II or III)
  • Taking stable heart medications with no recent changes
  • No serious lung disease, recent heart attack, or recent hospitalization for heart failure
  • Able to complete two exercise testing visits and provide written consent
