Who can take part

  • Your lipoprotein(a) level must be 150 nmol/L or higher
  • You must be taking a stable, optimized dose of statin medication for at least 30 days with no planned changes
  • You cannot have a genetic form of high cholesterol (familial hypercholesterolemia)
  • You cannot have serious heart conditions, recent heart attacks, strokes, or severe heart rhythm problems
  • You cannot have uncontrolled HIV, active hepatitis B or C, severe kidney disease, or uncontrolled diabetes
