  • Scheduled for robotic or laparoscopic (minimally invasive) liver surgery
  • Generally good overall health (not in very poor physical condition)
  • No chronic pain condition or regular pain medication use
  • No known allergies to anesthesia medicines or numbing drugs
  • Able to breathe on your own within 2 hours after surgery (no extended ventilator support needed)
