CD70 imaging to guide treatment breaks in advanced kidney cancer

Metastatic Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma

Part of Cancer, Kidney & urinary clinical trials.

This trial tests whether a special type of imaging scan (CD70-targeted PET/CT) can help doctors safely pause treatment in patients with advanced kidney cancer who respond well to standard immunotherapy and targeted therapy. The goal is to reduce unnecessary treatment while keeping the cancer controlled.

  • Your cancer is classified as favorable or intermediate risk based on standard prognostic factors
  • You have good overall health and physical function (able to carry out daily activities with minimal limitations)
  • Your organs and bone marrow are working well enough to handle the treatment (normal blood counts, liver, and kidney function)

Radioactive treatment for advanced kidney cancer

This trial tests a radioactive treatment (called radiopharmaceutical) that targets a protein called PSMA on kidney cancer cells. It is for people with advanced clear cell kidney cancer that has already been treated with immunotherapy and targeted therapy.

NCT07175480Recruiting· Phase 2
Stopping treatment for kidney cancer based on PET/CT results

This trial tests if people with advanced kidney cancer can safely stop all treatment if a special scan (PET/CT) shows their cancer has shrunk or disappeared. It's for those who have already been on a first-line immunotherapy plus targeted therapy for at least 12 months.

CD70-targeted CAR-T therapy for advanced solid tumors

This trial tests a new treatment called CAR-T that targets a protein called CD70 on cancer cells. It is for people with advanced solid tumors that have not responded to or cannot tolerate standard treatments.

NCT06255223Recruiting· Phase 2
Radiation therapy plus immunotherapy for advanced kidney cancer

This trial tests a combination of targeted radiation therapy with a restart of immunotherapy for people whose kidney cancer has grown after prior immunotherapy. It aims to see if radiation can help the immune system fight the cancer again.

NCT07647744Recruiting· Phase 1
CD70-Targeted Cell Therapy for Advanced Kidney Cancer

This study tests a new cell-based treatment designed to target kidney cancer cells that have a protein called CD70. The treatment involves collecting your immune cells, modifying them in the lab, and infusing them back to fight the cancer. It's for patients with advanced kidney cancer who have already tried at least one standard immunotherapy.

Shanghai
NCT06680089Recruiting· Phase 2
Imaging test for kidney cancer using CD70-targeted drug

This trial uses a special imaging drug that targets CD70 (a protein on some kidney cancer cells) to see if it can better detect and track kidney tumors. It may help doctors understand how much cancer is present and guide treatment decisions.
