Who can take part
- You have advanced (stage IV) kidney cancer with a clear-cell type that has spread or cannot be surgically removed
- Your cancer is classified as favorable or intermediate risk based on standard prognostic factors
- You have good overall health and physical function (able to carry out daily activities with minimal limitations)
- Your organs and bone marrow are working well enough to handle the treatment (normal blood counts, liver, and kidney function)
- You have not received any prior systemic (whole-body) treatment for advanced kidney cancer
- You are willing to use contraception during treatment and for 5 months after if you are able to become pregnant
