Who can take part

  • Age 12–16 years old and in good overall health
  • At least 1 year of regular rowing training experience
  • Currently training at high altitude (around 1,600 meters) as part of a centralized program
  • No heart, lung, kidney, hormone, or nerve disorders; no uncontrolled blood pressure
  • Not taking common pain relievers (like ibuprofen), immune-suppressing drugs, or medications that affect mood or alertness
  • No open skin wounds, severe eczema, or condition that makes hot water soaking unsafe for you
