  • Diagnosed with glioblastoma (a type of brain cancer) confirmed by biopsy, with specific genetic markers
  • Age 18 or older
  • Good overall health and ability to care for yourself (Karnofsky score of 70 or higher)
  • Able to tolerate radiation and chemotherapy treatment
  • Scheduled to receive radiation and chemotherapy at University Hospital of Bern
  • No blood clotting disorders (not caused by medications you take)
  • Cancer is limited to one area—not spread to multiple locations in the brain or body
