  • Age 18–80 years old
  • Confirmed hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) at early-to-intermediate stage that can be removed by surgery
  • Cancer has high-risk features (large tumor, aggressive cells under microscope, or very high tumor marker levels)
  • Good overall health (ECOG score 0–1) with normal or near-normal liver, kidney, and heart function
  • No prior cancer treatment (surgery, chemotherapy, or immunotherapy)
  • Normal blood counts and liver enzymes within acceptable ranges
