Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and can give informed consent to participate
- You have heart disease with scar tissue visible on imaging (echocardiogram, CT, or MRI)
- You've had sustained, dangerous heart rhythms (ventricular tachycardia) in the past 6 months, either causing symptoms or requiring your ICD (implanted device) to shock your heart back to normal
- You have not had recent heart surgery or stent placement (at least 30–90 days ago depending on the procedure)
- You are not pregnant, not breast-feeding, and not a candidate for heart transplant
- Your body size and shape allow you to safely lie in the radiation treatment position
