Who can take part
- Adults aged 18 to 80 years (19+ in South Korea)
- Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
- Either new to diabetes pills (no pills in the last 12 weeks) or currently on just one pill
- A1c blood sugar level must be between 7.5% and 11% at screening
- Fasting blood sugar below 270 mg/dL
- Body mass index (BMI) between 20 and 45 kg/m²
