Who can take part
- You have high triglycerides (between 150 and 500 mg/dL) and LDL cholesterol (at least 70 mg/dL).
- You are an adult (age 18 or older).
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 40.0.
- You have no serious illnesses or surgeries in the last 4 weeks.
- If you are a woman who can have children, you must use birth control during the study and for 6 months after.
- You must follow alcohol limits: no more than 7 drinks per week for women, 14 for men.
- You have not taken certain cholesterol or triglyceride medications (like fibrates, niacin, or high-dose fish oil) in the last 2 months.
- Your blood pressure, heart rate, and heart rhythm are within normal ranges as checked at screening.
