  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a tooth extraction where the socket is suitable for this treatment (Type 1 or 2 extraction)
  • No active infection or severe inflammation in the treatment area
  • Good oral hygiene habits and commitment to mouth care
  • Well-controlled diabetes (if you have it) with glycated hemoglobin below 7%
  • No untreated or severe gum disease, and smoke 10 cigarettes or fewer per day
