This study tests whether early movement and physical activity help stroke patients recover better mobility. You'd be in the hospital after a recent stroke, and the team would work with you on safe movement and exercises during your recovery.

Who can take part
- You had a stroke within the last few days and are still in the hospital
- Your stroke caused moderate-to-severe weakness (NIHSS score of 10 or higher)
- Before your stroke, you were able to walk and care for yourself independently or with minimal help
- Since your stroke, you've developed new difficulty with walking or daily activities
- You don't have broken bones, severe skin wounds, or heart/lung problems that would make movement unsafe
- You're able to participate in physical therapy without isolation precautions
