Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with cancer (breast, ovarian, esophageal, pancreatic, gastric, colon, rectal, or prostate) and are receiving treatment
  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are physically able to participate in light to moderate activities (ECOG score 0–2, meaning you can care for yourself with minimal or no assistance)
  • You do not currently take fish oil supplements or omega-3 supplements
  • You have not participated in another exercise or nutrition study in the past 3 months
  • You do not have bone cancer spread (metastases) or severe heart failure
