Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with essential thrombocythemia (ET) using current diagnostic criteria
  • You have been taking clopidogrel 75 mg once daily for at least 3 weeks as prescribed by your doctor
  • Your doctor has already tested how well you respond to clopidogrel using a specific blood test
  • Your platelet count must be below 1,000,000/μL (measured three times within 2 months before joining)
  • You are not taking blood thinners, other antiplatelet drugs, frequent NSAIDs, or high-dose steroids
