Who can take part

  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes and have been using insulin injections at home for at least 3 months
  • Your hemoglobin A1c (average blood sugar over 3 months) is between 7.0–10.0%
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old and weigh between 40–150 kg (88–330 lbs)
  • You have healthy veins in your upper arms for sensors and catheters
  • You have no serious liver, kidney, heart, or neurological conditions
  • You have not been in another medical study in the past 30 days
