Peanut Consumption and Fatty Liver Disease in Adults

Who can take part

  • Be between 30 and 70 years old
  • Have a diagnosis of metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MASLD), confirmed by a doctor
  • Currently eat peanuts, peanut butter, tree nuts, or seeds less than once per week
  • Be able to speak, read, and understand English
  • No peanut allergies or severe reactions to peanut products
  • No history of heavy alcohol use, leukemia, lymphoma, cancer, heart disease, or kidney disease
