Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older
  • Stomach cancer confirmed by biopsy
  • Anemia (low red blood cells) and/or bleeding from your stomach due to cancer
  • Not a good candidate for surgery or chemotherapy due to advanced age, frailty, or serious health conditions, OR have metastatic cancer (spread elsewhere), OR are declining surgery, OR are on chemo and bleeding is interrupting treatment
  • Able and willing to provide written consent
  • No pregnancy, pacemaker/heart defibrillator (unless it can be temporarily turned off), bleeding disorders, or life expectancy under 1 month
