Who can take part
- Age 18–75 years old
- BMI of 24 kg/m² or higher (overweight or obese), plus at least one weight-related health issue like prediabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fatty liver, joint pain, or sleep apnea
- Tried diet and exercise for 3+ months with weight change of 5 kg or less in the past 3 months
- No plan to become pregnant or father a child during the trial and 6 months after
- Not currently taking diabetes medications, weight-loss drugs, certain antidepressants, or other weight-affecting medications
