Who can take part
- You have had a CT scan showing sudden, spontaneous brain bleeding with a volume of at least 20 milliliters (about 4 teaspoons)
- You received minimally invasive surgery (a small surgical procedure) for the bleeding within 7 days of the bleed
- You arrived at the hospital within 24 hours of when your symptoms started
- Your bleeding is not due to an aneurysm, abnormal blood vessels, tumor, or other specific conditions
- Your bleeding is in the upper or middle parts of your brain (not the brainstem or cerebellum)
- You or your legal guardian can provide written consent within 7 days of hospital arrival and commit to follow-up visits
