Who can take part

  • You had a spontaneous brain bleed (not caused by injury or another condition).
  • You did not have surgery for this brain bleed.
  • Your brain bleed was not caused by a blood vessel problem, aneurysm, tumor, or head injury.
  • You do not have a serious illness that would limit your life expectancy to less than one year.
  • Before your brain bleed, you were able to live independently.
