Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been newly diagnosed with primary plasma cell leukemia.
- You have not had more than one cycle of prior treatment, and no prior monoclonal antibodies or immunotherapy.
- Your blood or urine tests show a certain level of myeloma protein (M-protein) or free light chains.
- Your liver and kidney function are adequate (blood tests within limits).
- Your blood cell counts (white cells, neutrophils, hemoglobin, platelets) are above minimum levels, or your doctor determines it's safe.
- You can take blood thinners as directed and agree to use effective birth control if applicable.
