Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 50 years old
  • You have a specific type of hip cartilage damage (a 'lesion' of 1 to 6 cm²) caused by a hip shape problem called femoroacetabular impingement (FAI)
  • The hip cartilage damage is classified as 'Beck 4 or 5' and your hip arthritis is at a mild stage (Tönnis 0, 1, or 2)
  • You have not had any prior surgery on the same hip
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can speak French well enough to answer questions
