Who can take part

  • Your child is between 6 months and 5 years old.
  • Your child has a non-cancer disease like bone marrow failure, sickle cell disease, immune deficiency, or other similar conditions that can be treated with a stem cell transplant.
  • Your child has a suitable donor (such as a matched family member or unrelated donor).
  • Your child does not have aplastic anemia, severe combined immunodeficiency, Fanconi anemia, or dyskeratosis congenita.
  • Your child does not have uncontrolled infections, organ problems (kidney, heart, lung, liver), or current cancer.
