Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You are scheduled for a type of lung cancer surgery called VATS
- You are in generally good health (classified as ASA I or II)
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 28
- Your cancer is at an early stage (spread is limited to nearby lymph nodes at most)
- You do not have severe sleep problems like sleep apnea or a sleep disorder score above the cutoff
