Who can take part
- You must have breast cancer and be about to start a chemotherapy called anthracyclines or a targeted therapy that blocks the HER2 protein (or both).
- You must not have had chemotherapy or radiation therapy in the last year.
- Your heart's pumping strength (called left ventricular ejection fraction or LVEF) must be 50% or higher.
- You cannot have uncontrolled high blood pressure or a serious heart condition you were born with.
- Your kidney function must be fairly good (a lab test called GFR should be 30 or higher).
