Who can take part

  • You have heart failure symptoms like shortness of breath (NYHA class I to III)
  • Your heart condition has been stable for at least 3 months
  • You have not changed your heart medications in the past 3 months
  • You do not smoke
  • You have not had a heart attack, heart surgery, or unstable angina in the last 3 months
  • You do not have any other heart or nerve conditions that would make breathing exercises difficult
