Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with heart failure with reduced pumping ability (ejection fraction 40% or less).
  • You have weak breathing muscles, confirmed by a breathing strength test (MIP less than 70% of normal).
  • You are 18 years or older and have been stable (no hospitalizations or major medication changes) for the past 3 months.
  • You do not have a severe lung disease like advanced COPD, active asthma, or severe pulmonary hypertension.
  • You have not had a heart attack, unstable angina, or heart surgery within the last 6 months.
