Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have advanced (stage III or IV) stomach, colorectal, breast, cervical, or head-and-neck cancer.
- Your doctor plans to start you on immunotherapy as your first treatment for advanced cancer.
- You can provide a sample of your tumor from a past biopsy, plus saliva and stool samples.
- You are generally well enough to be out of bed more than half the day (ECOG 0-1) and expected to live longer than 3 months.
- You have not taken antibiotics in the last 3 months (except a very short course), probiotics in the last 30 days, or strong acid-reducing medication for more than 3 months.
