Who can take part

  • You were in the ICU for at least 24 hours and have been moved to a regular hospital ward.
  • You are awake and can follow instructions for simple thinking and eye-tracking tests.
  • You did not have memory or thinking problems (like Alzheimer's) before your ICU stay.
  • You do not have a history of mental illness or intellectual disability.
  • You do not have severe vision, hearing, or eye problems that would prevent testing.
  • You do not have a serious brain condition (like stroke or head injury) that affects thinking.
