Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older with stage III non-small cell lung cancer.
  • You will receive radiation to the lung, possibly with chemo or immunotherapy.
  • You can hold your breath for at least 15 seconds.
  • You have not had radiation to the lung before.
  • You have not had lung surgery in the past year or do not plan to have it soon.
  • You do not have severe COPD or interstitial lung disease.
  • You are not pregnant or trying to become pregnant.
