Who can take part
- You have a carotid (neck artery) plaque confirmed by ultrasound or CT scan.
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You can attend all 6 months of study visits and tests.
- You have not had prior surgery or stenting for carotid plaque.
- You do not have severe liver or kidney disease, cancer, or an autoimmune condition.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking certain vitamins (B6, B12, multivitamins).
