Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with a type of rectal cancer called pMMR/MSS adenocarcinoma that has spread locally but not to other parts of the body.
- Your tumor is within 12 cm of the anal opening and is stage II or III with at least one high-risk feature (such as being very low, having positive lymph nodes, or invading nearby tissues).
- You have not had prior treatment for this cancer and are in good overall health (able to carry out daily activities).
- You do not have an active autoimmune disease, serious heart or lung conditions, or uncontrolled infections.
