Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with moderate to severe methamphetamine, cocaine, or prescription stimulant use disorder.
  • You have used stimulants on at least 18 days in the past 30 days.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition like high blood pressure, diabetes, or sleep apnea.
  • You are not currently using any GLP-1 medication, other weight-loss drugs, or insulin.
  • You do not have severe kidney disease, uncontrolled diabetes, or a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer.
  • You can undergo an MRI (no pacemaker or metal in body, and not claustrophobic).
