Who can take part

  • You have a type of tumor called thymoma or thymic carcinoma, confirmed by a biopsy or surgery.
  • You had surgery to remove your thymus gland (thymectomy).
  • Your tumor stage is I, II, or III, and your doctor recommends radiation after surgery.
  • You are at least 18 years old and generally able to take care of yourself (Karnofsky score 70% or higher).
  • Your blood counts and liver/kidney function are within acceptable ranges (test results from within 90 days).
