Who can take part

  • You are over 40 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with COPD using breathing tests.
  • You are currently in the ICU for a severe COPD flare-up that started within the last 14 days.
  • You do not have moderate or severe heart valve disease.
  • You do not have a history of left-sided heart failure before this flare-up.
