NCT06770686Not yet recruiting
Preventing pressure injuries in intensive care

This study tests a special care plan to prevent bedsores (pressure injuries) in intensive care patients and looks at whether it helps reduce both how often they happen and the costs. It may help if you or a loved one is admitted to the ICU for at least 24 hours and does not already have a bedsore.

NCT07691710Enrolling by invitation
Blood gases and pressure injury risk in ICU patients

This study looks at how blood oxygen levels and other measures relate to the risk of pressure injuries (bedsores) in people staying in the intensive care unit for at least 3 days. It may help find ways to prevent these injuries.

NCT07496411Not yet recruiting
Ultrasound test to predict bedsores in ICU patients

This trial uses an ultrasound score to see if it can predict which ICU patients will get bedsores (pressure injuries). It has two parts: first, they develop and test the score; second, they check if telling nurses the score helps prevent bedsores.

NCT07732517Not yet recruiting
Pressure ulcer risk prediction in ICU

This study looks at whether a common ICU risk score (SAPS 2) can predict who will develop a pressure ulcer (bed sore) during their stay. If you are an adult admitted to the ICU without a pressure ulcer already, this trial may help improve care for future patients.

Bordeaux
NCT06563830Not yet recruiting
Preventing bed sores with nurse training

This study tests if a web-based training program for nurses can help prevent bed sores (pressure injuries) in intensive care patients. It looks at both how nurses learn and how patients' skin health improves.

NCT06442657Recruiting
Preventing bedsores in patients placed on their stomach

This trial tests a new way to prevent bedsores (pressure injuries) while patients lie on their stomachs for breathing support. It's for adults in the ICU with severe lung problems who are on a ventilator.
