Brain bleed surgery study in children after head injury

Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injury

Who can take part

  • You are under 18 years old.
  • You had a head injury that caused a blood clot outside the brain (extradural hematoma).
  • You had surgery to remove that blood clot.
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder.
  • You do not have an autoimmune disease.
  • You have not had previous surgery for this type of brain bleed.
  • You do not have other types of brain bleeds (like subdural or subarachnoid).
  • You do not have major facial fractures or other serious injuries to the chest, heart, or bones.
